‍Dear Visitor ‍

As you can see, I've been very busy rethinking and recreating my regular newsletter, which now has a name - 'The Beacon'. I've chosen this name as it evokes a sense of:

  • Hope and optimism
  • Safe passage
  • Shining wisdom through the emotional storm
  • Dependable steadiness and reassurance

'The Beacon' represents the essence of the nurturing work I strive to provide - shining a light into the darkness of grief with practical tips, coping strategies, and grief resources. Through 'The Beacon', I hope to be your source of compassionate, practical guidance during this immensely difficult journey. I hope you find as much inspiration in the name as I do.

Today's Main Topic: Healthy Eating When We Are Grieving

This week is Healthy Eating Week, which inspired me to create a new video on healthy eating during grief. After losing a loved one, many get the advice that "it doesn't matter what you eat, as long as you eat".

However, as I explain in the video, this advice is truly misguided - emotional stress requires a unique approach, especially when our digestive fire and nutrient absorption is compromised. I also highlight 3 specific foods grieving people should avoid and why they can be harmful.

But I don't just leave you with the problems - I also share tips for gently crowding those foods out with nourishing alternatives.

Click on the video below and start taking compassionate control of your diet during this difficult journey.

How We Can Work Together

Even years after our loss, issues like poor digestive strength and erratic eating patterns can persist for various reasons.

If you're struggling with eating after the loss of your loved one or experiencing digestive issues such as acid reflux, bloating, or constipation, I can help.

Book a free 30-minute 'First Steps Grief Support' session with me to explore whether personalised coaching could benefit you. Together, we'll explore simple, sustainable ways to help you regain control of your diet and overall well-being.

This call is an opportunity for us to connect and see if working together feels right for you. You deserve to feel good and experience more daily joy. But first, let's start with an open conversation about your goals and needs.
