‍Dear Visitor ‍

Summer may be over, but our grief journey continues. That's why I would like to share some - recent and upcoming - events with you to support you on your personal healing journey.

If you’ve been finding it hard to prioritise self-care after a major loss, you're not alone. It's all too easy to put our own wellbeing on the back burner when we’re grieving, busy or both; but it’s also one of the most important things we can do for ourselves.

In this newsletter, I’m offering simple, effective ways to start bringing self-care back into focus, along with details of events that will help you feel supported every step of the way.

What Self-Care Can Look Like

Breathing, Eating, Sleeping: Three Keys to Feeling Better

I recently joined Christine Dernederlanden for her "Grief Uprooted" podcast. Together, we explored three fundamental aspects of self-care that can significantly impact how you feel each day:

  • Mindful breathing
  • Regular nourishing meals
  • Restorative sleep

We discuss how small, intentional changes in these areas can help you regain a sense of control over your wellbeing. I also open up about my personal journey, offering a reminder that while grief can feel overwhelming, healing is possible.

Make sure to watch until the end for a FREE resource that I know you’ll find incredibly helpful in taking care of yourself a little bit better every day.

Whether you’re grieving or supporting someone who is, this episode offers practical, easy-to-follow tips to start prioritising your wellbeing.

🧘‍♀️ Grief Yoga – Resuming This Week!

I’m excited to share that my Grief Yoga class on Fridays is back after the summer break! This month, we’ll be focusing on the chakras – the subtle energy centres in the body that often become blocked in grief.

In this class, you’ll learn how to release that blocked energy through movement, sound, and breath. You may notice subtle (or even not-so-subtle) shifts in your body, mind, and the way you cope with emotions.

To reserve your spot, go to my website. You may be surprised by the powerful effects of the techniques we’ll be exploring together.

As always, I’m here if you have any questions or need support.
