‍Dear Visitor, ‍

I've been busy this past week thinking about where to start offering free bereavement support with the funding I've received, and I'm excited to announce this first workshop.

Listening to the responses I've had so far, this workshop is happening on a late Friday afternoon, is 1 hour long, and online.

The meal we'll be preparing addresses common challenges in a simple way: cooking for one, loss of appetite, eating for comfort, improving energy, coping with anxiety and low mood, lack of motivation for cooking, and cooking with chronic fatigue.

All of these can be improved by simply balancing our blood sugar response.

‍Free Cooking Workshop - Friday 10 April

I'm offering a new, National Lottery-funded cooking workshop for bereaved peopleΒ on low incomes or struggling to eat well on a budget.

'Cooking Through Grief: The True Magic of a Simple Dish'

πŸ“… Friday 10 April | ⏰ 5:00–6:00pm | πŸ’» Online via Zoom

Only 12 more places available – reserve your free spot now!

In this workshop, we'll cook together in real time. I'll guide you step by step to create a simple, nourishing meal using affordable ingredients (around Β£3-5).

You'll also learn:

✨ How to adapt this basic recipe to what you have at home

✨ Tips for cooking with minimal effort and time

✨ Why these ingredients support your body during grief

There will be plenty of time for questions, troubleshooting, and gentle conversation. You can cook along with me or simply watch - whatever suits you best.

‍Haven't filled in the survey yet?

If you haven't had a chance to complete the brief survey about what bereavement support would be most helpful, I'd love your input. It takes about 3-5 minutes and will directly shape how I use the National Lottery funding.

Here's the link to the survey.

A huge thank you to everyone who's already responded - your answers are helping me a lot! πŸ’š
