Feeling sluggish, exhausted, or completely disconnected from food? Has your appetite disappeared, or are digestive issues making every meal uncomfortable?
You're not alone.
Grief doesn't just affect our hearts and minds – it profoundly impacts our bodies. Some of us lose all interest in eating. Others develop uncomfortable digestive symptoms or feel weighed down by chronic exhaustion and brain fog.
This workshop isn't about forcing yourself to eat or following a rigid detox plan. It's about gently supporting your body's natural systems through nourishing, easy-to-digest foods and simple daily practices you can sustain long after the session ends.
Who This Workshop Is For
This workshop is designed for grievers experiencing:
- Low or absent appetite – you need gentle foods to help coax your hunger back
- Digestive issues – discomfort, bloating, or other symptoms that make eating difficult
- Chronic exhaustion and brain fog – your body feels depleted and overwhelmed
- General sluggishness – feeling physically weighed down by grief
Whether you're struggling with one of these challenges or all of them, this workshop offers practical, gentle support.
What We'll Cook Together
In this interactive 2.5-hour workshop, we'll prepare three simple, healing foods:
🥄 Kitchari – A traditional Ayurvedic cleansing dish that's incredibly easy to digest and deeply nourishing. Perfect for breakfast, lunch, or dinner when your system needs gentle support or your appetite is low.
🍎 Stewed Apples – A comforting dish that aids digestion and can serve as breakfast, dessert, or a gentle meal replacement when solid food feels like too much.
✨ Dates Soaked in Ghee – A quick, nourishing snack that builds vitality (ojas) without burdening your digestive system.
What We'll Explore Together
Beyond cooking, we'll discuss:
- General tips for supporting digestion during emotionally stressful times
- How to gently ease back into eating when appetite is low - my step-by-step approach
- What to do when swallowing is difficult or food is sitting heavy in your stomach
- The best tea options for digestive issues and daily cleansing
- Time for your questions about digestive or appetite issues you're experiencing
