Prepare Yourself for the Emotional Challenges of the Holiday Season
The festive season can be particularly challenging when you're grieving. Changes in routine, rich foods, and emotional triggers can leave you feeling drained, anxious, or completely overwhelmed.
This workshop is designed to help you navigate the season while supporting your body, mood, and energy—through gentle cooking, practical strategies, and a warm, supportive space.
Who This Workshop Is For
This workshop is for grievers who:
- Dread Christmas because of all the emotional triggers and ups and downs of grief
- Worry about weight gain over the festive season and aren't sure what or how to eat to keep things steadier
- Eat for comfort and want to discover naturally sweet alternatives that truly satisfy without the guilt or energy crash
- Already struggle with low energy or mood and want to maintain—or even improve—their current levels before Christmas makes everything harder
If any of this sounds familiar, this workshop offers practical, gentle support to help you feel more prepared and less overwhelmed.
What We'll Cook Together
In this interactive 2.5-hour session, we'll prepare four simple, festive dishes from my Christmas Survival Guide that are nourishing, easy to digest, and can be served for one or scaled up for guests:
🍂 Budget-Friendly Stuffing (without breadcrumbs)
🍄 Mushroom-Rosemary Gravy
🍒 Maple-Infused Cranberry Sauce
🍎 5-Minute Apple-Cranberry Nut Crumble – a quick, comforting dessert that satisfies without refined sugar or flour
All recipes are suitable for omnivores, vegetarians, and vegans—and free from common triggers like gluten, cow's dairy, refined sugar, and tomatoes.
Have other food sensitivities? Let me know and I'll tailor the recipes to your needs.
