Nutritional Therapy
What do I mean by ‘Nutritional Therapy’?
Well, it is not about a ‘fad diet’ or even simply eating healthily. Nutritional Therapy is about putting in place eating plans that will help you combat the effects of grief and stress following bereavement. These are based on eating regularly, using healthy ingredients, but prepared in a way that makes it easy to sustain – what I like to call ‘Happy Food’.
Sounds easy, doesn’t it? But grief can lead to some bad food choices which may affect your mental and physical health. I was retraining as a nutritional therapist when my husband died and, despite having all the practical skills and knowledge, I still needed support from friends and two Ayurvedic practitioners to help me to make better food choices and to learn to cook only for myself.
It felt really good to know that somebody cared about me and my health.
So, what can you do when you feel overwhelmed by grief, are utterly tired and don´t see the point of cooking for one?
I would like to share with you some ways that Nutritional Therapy can help you have more control over how you feel each day; how you can improve your energy levels and mood; and how you can achieve a new sustainable daily routine, not just for a few weeks but for the rest of your life.
My workshops, yoga classes and consultations can all be combined in a programme specifically to suit you. Contact me to find out more. You will not know how much better you will feel until you try it.
